Chris Rutherford comes to Affordable Suites of America with over 20 years of hotel industry experience. He has overseen the overall operations of the brand since 2009 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2012. Chris is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Administration. Most recently, he was with Strand Development Company as a Regional Director of Operations. He has extensive General Management experience with many of the hotel brands such as Extended Stay Hotels, LaQuinta Inns & Suites, Sheraton, Ramada, Marriott and AmeriSuites. Tammy Hart brings to Affordable Suites over 20 years of hotel sales and marketing experience. Appointed by Affordable Suites of America as Chief Business Development Officer in 2012, Tammy is responsible for the sales and marketing efforts of the current portfolio and development efforts of the brand. Tammy is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Hospitality Management. Most recently, Tammy was the Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing for Strand Development Company. She has extensive sales & marketing experience with brands, such as, Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Choice, Wyndham and Starwood, working in all types of markets, such as, airport, downtown, suburban, resort and interstate areas.
